One of the latest innovations in the market of information and communication technologies, glasses labeled the Google Glass, were introduced in April last year. Although not yet final version is on store shelves the Slovak and developers world wide are already working on applications intended for such “smart glasses”. Modern solution for the general public gets space on ITAPA international congress in Bratislava.

Opportunity to try what technology can Google Glass in connection with a convenient application, will visitors have at ITAPA 2014, taking place during 11th-12th November in Bratislava. In particular, it will be a City Monitor application, which already works on mobile devices, optimized for the device Google Glass.At the premise of the Hotel Crown Plaza they will try to report suggestions with facial expressions, voice and touch to magistrate, respectively administrator of public property. Currently the City Monitor app now fully uses the smartphones and database registers for thousands of reported deficiencies government from Bratislava through Nitra to Košice. A large number of reported deficiencies in the public space are more easy to report due to easy operation of app. Just take a photo of potholes, broken lights or other object with smartphone, add a description and message goes immediately to the competent magistrate, who can immediately solve the problem.
At the International Congress visitors interested in the latest trends and innovations in the field of information society will find theirs. ITAPA is primarily intended for local government representatives, government representatives or academic field representatives, but after purchasing a ticket also persons from the private sector can take a part.
